Nomas

2017, Umbrella Studio Contemporary Arts, Townsville
 

Nomas is a collaborative live performance with artist Zoe Porter featuring dancers Tegan Ollett and Georgia Rudd and sound artist Exploko. Zoe Porter’s practice spans drawing, painting, performance, and projection, creating engaging and expansive experiences through collaborations with dancers, circus performers, and musicians. Nomas explored hybrid animal and mythical forms through movement and live mural painting with sound by Exploko.

 

Nomas was programmed and presented by Umbrella Studio Contemporary Arts (Townsville) in 2017 thanks to the Regional Arts Development Fund. The Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and the Townsville City Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.

 

Townsville City Council supported Nomas under the Community Grants Program.
